Tripp is a start-up looking for an experienced digital art generalist to join our team as the Art Manager, working on groundbreaking VR technology with founders that have multiple exits under their belts. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of 2D and 3D art and animation pipelines as well as the content creation pipeline in Unity.
The Art Manager acts on a daily basis as a one-person art team, with the ability to create or otherwise source and modify art of different forms and to manage the art resources through the entire pipeline. The art manger must be deft at proposing vision as well as incorporating the notes and feedback of other team members.
Technical chops are key. So is talent.
The candidate is responsible for setting up and maintaining the art production workflow into engine soup-to-nuts – from creation to QA
Communicating procedures to the team. Proactive reaction to issues as they arise and the proactive creation and propagation of solutions.Collaboration with programmers to develop and test new features within the project.
A deep understanding of Unity engine features affecting the scene and scene assets including lighting, Particle effects, animation, tools, asset management, all forms of optimization and Unity C#
Should have an extensive knowledge of all art packages directly related to creation of engine assets, and be able to customise those packages to streamline the asset pipeline and add new features.Desirable Skills and Experience:
Experience creating content for VR/AR.
Maya Rigging experience.
Shader programming experience.
